ULTRAOLOGY: EXTRAORDINARY TECHNOLOGY
Leading-edge technology is used to blend stone and other materials which are then subjected to extraordinary processes, including ultra-compaction. This mimics the metamorphic change that natural stone undergoes when exposed to extremes of temperature and pressure over thousands of years, but in a vastly accelerated way. Unlike natural stone, however, there are no micro defects to weaken the material or allow penetration of the surface.
Dekton worktop advantages are endless as the extreme levels of compaction used provide extraordinary resistance to temperature, staining and physical damage. This makes Dekton worktops exceedingly easy to maintain and provides long life performance. The process also allows surfaces to be produced far thinner than with other stone-type worktops, without compromising the material’s strength.

Dekton can be installed in a thinner material over greater spans allowing for up to a 12-inch unsupported overhang on work tops, peninsulars, islands and bartops. This is not only practical but opens the door to all types of design possibility.
The manufacturing process used to make Dekton allows control of the pigmentation and finish giving better colour consistency from slab to slab and resulting in a long lasting product that will not fade over time. The work surface you install today will remain the same new appearance for the rest of its long life.

Dekton is very consistent in both dimension and thickness from one slab to another which minimises the need for corrections on-site and allows for easier work top installation.
